Children of Deaf Adults
CODA celebrates the unique heritage and multicultural
identities of adult hearing individuals with deaf parent(s).
Since 1986, conferences have been held in Arizona, Australia, California, Colorado, Florida, Germany, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Reading, Spain, Texas, Virginia, Washington state and Wisconsin.
The following countries have been represented: Argentina; Australia; Belgium; Brazil; Canada; England; Finland; Germany; Holland; Ireland; Israel; Japan; The Netherlands; Sweden; United Kingdom and the United States. Additional gatherings of C/codas have occurred in Austria, Canada, England, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Sweden, Africa, and elsewhere. Look at previous conferences here.
